About Us

The Red Deer Women's Basketball League is a recreational league where women aged 18+ can get a great workout while playing a sport we all love. Basketball is a great way to meet new people, stay in shape and have fun.
This league has grown over the years and we hope that you will join one of our teams or add a new team! All skill levels are encouraged to join individually or as a team.

Start up meeting: Monday September 15th @ 630pm - Lacombe - Central Alberta Christian High School (see cachs under facilities for directions)
- Room - look for signs. Parking would be at the side of the building or on street.
- All new players will join a team at this meeting.
- Team Reps are asked to bring a $300 deposit to the Orientation meeting.
Drop-in night: Monday September 29th @ 7pm - LTCHS large gym.
- Teams are invited to dust off the shoes and shake off the rust for a quick round robin/open gym
First official game of the season: Monday October 6th

The season runs from October to March and we play on Monday nights. Game times are 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
We play at various gyms in Central Alberta. This season, most games will be at:
- Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School (LTCHS) in Red Deer
- Central Alberta Christian High School (CACHS) in Lacombe
- Eastview Middle School in Red Deer
- Central Middle School in Red Deer
- Hunting Hills High School in Red Deer
